Dorothy Goble Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Goble of Tell City, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wissel and Clara Wissel (Merkley); her husband Daniel Curtis Goble, Jr.; her stepmother Augusta Wissel; her daughter Rebecca Jo; and her grandson Nathan Goble.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Smith (Jim) of Dayton, OH, Brenda Clayton (Noel) of Owensboro, Daniel Goble (Joan) of Tell City and Patrick Goble (Michelle) of Indianapolis; her siblings, JoAnn Waninger (Kenny) of Fulda and Bill Wissel (Barb) of Huntingburg; her grandchildren, Amanda Smale of Indianapolis, Lesley Smale of Denver, Julie Losurdo (Greg) of New York, Matthew Clayton (Mayme) of Lexington, Kyle Clayton (Eryn) of Lexington, Hannah Sinks (Tom) of Indianapolis and Nicholas Goble of Cincinnati; and her great grandchildren, Henry Clayton, Nola Losurdo and Miles Clayton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (824 Jefferson St, Tell City, IN 47586).
Memorial contributions may be made to the D of I Scholarship Fund, St. Paul Catholic Church or St. Mary's Cemetery.
