He was predeceased by: his sister May Nicholes; and his half-sister Sandy Adamson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Shaw; his children, Barbara Etienne (Randy), Kathie Lackey, Donnie Shaw (Donna) and Julie Shaw; his grandchildren, Ammie Kucy (Tom), Bryan Etienne, Jeffery Etienne (Marie), Jordan Etienne, Dee Jay Shaw (Megan) and Nathan Shaw (Amber); and his half-brothers, Charles McAffee (Kathy) and Eugene McAffee. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
