He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sturgeon and Hazel Sturgeon (Throop); his son Chris Sturgeon; and his niece Jennifer James. He is survived by: his daughter Joanna Sinclair (Scottie, Jr.); his grandchildren, Taylor Sturgeon and Haylee Sturgeon; and his siblings, Debbie Hale, Penny James, Mike Sturgeon (Janet) and Rusty Sturgeon (Carol).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Huber Funeral Home - Tell City (1139 12th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
