He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Winter and Cornelia Winter (Krieg); and his brother Donovan "Don" Winter. He is survived by: his wife Ula Winter; his children, Stacey Sims and Darren Winter (Emily); his grandchildren, Zoie Sims, Kaden, Reece and Mason Winter; his sisters, Wilma Masters and Lois Scott (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Mildred "Pidge" Winter.
