He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Harper and Ruth Harper Adamson (Burns); his son-in-law Joe Bailey; and his siblings, Thelma Terry, Marjorie Nix, Carolyn Carter, Nancy Bradshaw, Linda Simpson, Charles "Bud", Melvin, Paul and Clyde "Eddie" Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Lena (Dixon); his children, Chad Harper (Lori), Kimberly Bailey and Machele Staehler; his grandchildren, Kassye Harper, Roseanna Richards, Tyler Bailey (Bre), Niccole Bailey and Ava Staehler; his great grandchildren, Eyla and Alice Bailey; and his siblings, Rose Moore (Denny), Brenda Pohl, Betty Hawkins (Dale), Daisy James, Wanda Daley of Peoria, IL and Joe Harper (Brenda).
