He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell King and Louella King (Esarey); his former wife Marilyn Luecke; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Betty Heeke; his children, Susan Lautner (Mark), Eric King (Natalie) and Christopher King; his stepdaughter Sheila Robertson (Wayne); his grandchildren, Anna, Mary, Ellen, Carsten King, Thomas, Kate and Will Gilman; and his brothers, James, Ralph, Michael and David.
