She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Decker and Doshie Decker (Smith); her husband Estill "Buck" Preston; her son Mark Preston; her stepmother Stella Decker-Sims; and her siblings, Ruth Smith, Lillian Cotton, Gracie Obenchain, Billy, Harold, Jimmy and Danny Decker.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Zuckschwerdt, Steve Preston, Wayne Preston (Kelli Aud), Anita Batie, Marita Hendershot (Ronnie Shartzer) and Chad Preston; and her siblings, Sondra Richards, Patty Dunn, Sherri Patterson and Joe Decker. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Huber Funeral Home - Tell City (1139 12th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Christian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
