She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Zuelly and Elizabeth Zuelly (Volgemann); and her siblings, Linda Zuelly and Lloyd "Otts" Zuelly. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. "Bob" Thiery; her daughters, Janet DeWitt and Jenny Ramsey (Mark); her grandchildren, Trinity Mayfield (Colton), Travis DeWitt (Brenna Daniel), Austin, Mason and Leighton Ramsey; her great grandchildren, Rheyse and Kinsley Mayfield; and her siblings, Patty Duke (Eddie), Darla Hedinger (Clete), Danny Zuelly (Annie), Rick Zuelly and Kevin Zuelly (Angie).

“Bob, Janet, Jenny & Family...I am deeply saddened by Brenda's passing. I have such great memories of her from my youth. She was really like a second mom to me. My fondest memory will always be her inviting me over and cooking me my favorite meal (fried porkchops). We'd sit at the dinner table and catch up on all my adventures from the military. So glad Janet was able to set up FaceTime so that I could speak to her & see her one last time. I will miss her dearly. My sincere condolences.”
