Benjamin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Ransome and Effie Ransome Sr. (Roberson); his wife Betty Ransome; his son Ronnie Ransome; and his siblings, Shelbie Ransom, Barbara Perkins, Addie Wilber, James Ransome and Bessie Ransome.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Wetzel (Bob) of Santa Claus, Bob Ransome (Brenda) of Avon, IN and Wayne Ransome (Faye) of Huntingburg; his caregiver Melba Ayer; and his grandchildren, Angela Lagrange, Tim Ransome, Chad Alvey, Amy Cline, Lindsey Ransome, Marla Stratman, Sara Piper and Josh Wetzel. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
