Alice Watson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Watson of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Taylor and Ethel Taylor (Stephens); her husband Arthur Watson; her daughter Veronica Dean; her grandson Larry Dean; and her great grandchild Nicole Shephard.
She is survived by: her children, Prentice Watson of Gatchel, Dorothy Shephard (Terry) of Hawesville, Jim Watson (Becky Howell) of Gatchel, Ethel Ann Racine (Randy) of Gatchel, Virginia "Jenny" VanWinkle (James McFall) of Gatchel, Patrick Watson of German Ridge and David Watson (Diane) of Gatchel; and her grandchildren, Teresa Blair, Melissa Weinberger (Mark), Kenny Shulaw, Jeremy Shulaw (Amanda), Dominic Bauer (Mandy), Brian Bauer (Amanda), Joe Shephard (Shannon), Chrystal Marciniak, Cody VanWinkle (Jenny), Brandi VanWinkle (Trent Persohn), Tyler Watson (Katie McFall), Dylan Watson (Maddie), Matthew Watson and Andrew Watson. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
