He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony "Tony" Compton of Columbus, William Robert "Billy" Compton Jr. of Columbus and Judith "Judy" Mize; his daughter April Nichole "Nikki" Compton; and his grandsons, Aleksander "Alex" Thompson of Columbus and Cassius "Cash" Thompson of Columbus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
