She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Henry and Effie Marie McKinney Hoover; her siblings, Leroy Hoover and Delilah "Sis" Ogle; and her brothers-in-law, Verel Jackson, Richard "Dick" Ogle and Ed Ness.
She is survived by: her husband David Ross Sharpe; her children, Rex Sharpe (Beth) of Columbus and Jennifer Sharpe of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Sophie Hill, Rachel Hill and Kaleb Sharpe; her siblings, David Hoover (Sue) of Columbus, Rebecca Graham (Pete) of North Vernon, Leah Jackson of Nashville, Martha Ness of Columbus and Jean Frazee (George) of Florida; her sister-in-law Margaret "Margie" Fisher (Tim) of Madison; and her pet Margaret. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
