It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Wiles of Taylorsville, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Wiles and Mildred M. Merle Wiles; his wife Joan Shown; his children, Joey Williams and Karen Bug; his grandson Tyler Williams; his brother Gene Wiles; and his son-in-law Jeremy Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Snyder of North Vernon, Jimmy Wiles (Jen Sizemore) of Columbus and Trina Skaggs; his grandchildren, Jackie Griffin (Quincy) of Scipio, Ashley Snyder of Columbus, Alyssa Wiles (Amanda Cash) of Vallonia, Chris Wiles (Kati) of Columbus, Kari Akers (Ryan) of Indianapolis, Kendra Wiles (Maria Wade) of Taylorsville, Corbin Wiles (Michelle), Montana Wiles, Zach Johnson (Kierstin), Angel Wade, Timmy, Christopher Nickell, Jeremy Skaggs of Taylorsville, Brandon Skaggs of Taylorsville, Shannon and Heather Quillen; and his siblings, Leo Wiles of Anderson, Joyce Powell (Bill) of Anderson, John Wiles of Anderson and Janice Bauman (Russ). He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
