He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard A. Zeigler and Vada K. Zeigler (Dykes); his daughters, Debbie Carmer and Sandra Bowling; his siblings, Art Zeigler and Edna Hensley; and his granddaughter Jerica Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Margaret Zeigler (Burns); and his children, Larry Lee Carmer Jr. (Oneica) of Elizabethtown, James Bass (Susan) of Alabama, Michael Bass (Bridgett) of Columbus, Loretta Mahoney (Phil) of Columbus, Debi Daniels (Jeff) of Columbus and Stacy Petro (Rick) of Taylorsville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
