He is survived by: his parent-in-law Oweita Faye Tomlinson Gardner; his wife Oweita Augsburger; his daughters, Kimberly Evans (James), Kerri Warstler (Nathan) and Angela Wright (Robert); his stepson John Gardner (Kathleen) of Durango, CO; his grandchildren, Karissa Evans Kimmel (Luke), Jonathan Evans (Sarah), Drew Evans (Jessica), Kindra Wright Dawes (Jordan), Whitney Wright, Weston Wright, Hannah Warstler Miller (Brad), Heidi Mills (Danezion), Roj Warstler, Mia-Ann Warstler and Jason Graff; his great grandchildren, Reese, Joel, Jacob, Clara Kimmel, Etta Evans, Mason, Sophia Evans, Addison, Tatum Dawes and Cole Graff; and his nieces, Rita Charlton (Doug) and Carla Curtis. He is also survived by his sister and many cousins, fishing with his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in John's name to Wounded Warriors, Lewy Body Dementia Association, or New Hope Pet Rescue in Syracuse, Indiana.
