He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil O. Richards and Olivene May Richards (Ott); and his brothers, Joe and Denny Richards. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dennis; his children, Tamra "Tami" Thurby (Rick) of Atlanta, GA and Cameron Richards (Katie) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Jeff Thurby, Brandon Thurby and Rachel Thurby; his great grandchild Charlie Johnson; and his brother Larry Richards of Syracuse.
