Shirey of Syracuse, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dwight Shirey; his wife Dorothy; his daughter Susan Thornberry (Robert); and his siblings, Ernest, Austin, Russell Shirey, Pearl Rose, Helen Peterson and Viola Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Shirey (Janet), Barbara Workman, Deborah (late Tom Luedtke) and Pamela Williams (James). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
