He was predeceased by: his fathers, John Knisley and Cecil Knisley (Strycker); his daughter Dixie Knisley; and his siblings, Ruth Mench, Mary Jane Byrd, Carl, Clarence, Ralph and John Knisley Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Knisley of Bristol, Dana Knisley (Gloria) of Syracuse and Brian Knisley (Sarah) of Syracuse; and his brothers, Donald Knisley (June) of New Paris and Glen Knisley (Mary Ann) of Warsaw.
