We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2024, at the age of 96, Jean Niles (Syracuse, Indiana), born in Milford, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Neff and Grace Neff (Pinkerton). She is survived by: her children, Kristie Essig (Richard) of Syracuse and Randy Niles of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Jay Koontz (Shawna) of North Webster and Kamby Essig (Ben Shue) of Fort Wayne; her sister May "Darlene" Hawkins of Nappanee, Indiana.; and her husband Donald "PeeWee" Niles. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Titus Funeral Home-Syracuse (1001 S Huntington St, Syracuse, IN 46567). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at the Syracuse Cemetery (966 N Mill St, Syracuse, IN 46567).
