James Leman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, at the age of 82, James Leman of Syracuse, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Leman and Ruth M. Leman (Widmar) of Bremen. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Jane Zeltwanger (Phil) of Bremen and Sam E. Leman Jr. (Fran) of Indianapolis; his nieces, Jelayne VanBokkem (Tony) and Cassandra Bates (Chris); and his nephew Mathew Zeltwanger.
