He is survived by: his wife Joan Gordon; his children, Steve Alford (Sherri) of Athens, AL and Ann Heiny (Michael) of Winter Park, FL; his grandson Jim Heiny of Winter Park, FL; and his sister Barb Biberstein (Gene) of Bluffton, IN..
