He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Carr and Catherine Carr (Hay); his wife Ellabelle Carr (Doll); his daughter Caron Carr Pilgrim; and his siblings, Rosemary Carr and Stanley Carr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christie Schanlaub (Dennis) of Syracuse, Connie Yadon (John) of Montpelier and Carol Carr of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Christopher Mays (Frances), Neil Pilgrim (Lorena) and Emily Pilgrim (Devin); and his great grandchildren, Izabella Mays, Reed Mays and Noel Harvey.
