With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Hughes (Syracuse, Indiana), born in Nappanee, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reed and Eva Lynn Reed; her husband Joe Hughes; and her siblings, Marianne Lung, George Reed, Betty McKibben, Midge Stutzman, Bob Reed, Alice Furney and Chuck Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Schuldt (Brad), Brenda Daugherty and Kirk Hughes. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
