She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Speakman and Rhoda M. Speakman (Jones); her husband Roger G. Haessig; her siblings, Thomas Speakman (Jennie), Rev. Harry Speakman (Esther Jean), John H. Speakman, Rev. Lee Speakman (Lavonne), Robert "Bob" Speakman, Paul Speakman (Em) and Arlyene Kelsey (Ron); and her brother-in-law Robert Sutherland.
She is survived by: her children, David M. Haessig (Kim) of Milford, Daryl L. Haessig (Susan) of Syracuse, Indiana and Karen Thomas (Sunu) of South Bend, Indiana; her siblings, David Speakman (Carmi) of Syracuse, Indiana and Mary Sutherland of Willmore, Kentucky; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Speakman of Decatur, Indiana and Judy Speakman of Warren, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Lanae (Asher), Logan, Trevor, Brianna, Valerie, Samuel, Leena, Hannah and Silas.
In lieu of flowers, Ellamae's family would ask that memorials be directed to Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene or Reach Beyond – Missionary Steve Sutherland.
