We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2021, at the age of 89, Doris Elaine Whitehead of Syracuse, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Galen Lehman and Lillian Lehman (Zamastil); her sister Dorothy Lehman; her son Craig Whitehead; and her daughter-in-law Diana Whitehead.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Whitehead (Dick); her sons, Barry Whitehead (Debra) and Brett Whitehead; her grandchildren, Cory Whitehead of Illinois, Casie Bontrager (Billy), Dustin Whitehead (Heather), DeeAnn Whitehead, Mindy Park (Kevin), Bryce Whitehead (Ali), Matt Whitehead (Ashley) and Samantha Steffen (Nate); and her stepgrandchild Reagan Nyce. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be directed to Goshen Hospice or the New Paris Church of the Brethren.
