We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, at the age of 88, Donald E. Stewart of Syracuse, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Stewart and Maude Stewart (Hinshaw); and his sisters, Lou, Dot and Wilma.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Gebhardt; and his children, Kathy Stewart of Tennessee and Brian Stewart (Bonnie Toepfer) of Montana.
In lieu of flowers, gifts should be directed to a charity of the donor's choosing.
