He was predeceased by: his parents, John Umbower and Madeline Umbower Albright (Golden); and his brother Floyd Umbower. He is survived by: his wife Marie Umbower; his children, DeeAnn Shephard (Ben) of Troy, Denae Umbower (KC Wiese) of Houston, Dan Umbower (Anna) of Goshen and Dori Hochstedler (Barry) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Kelsey Stuart (Kyle), Karston Shephard (Katie), Kamden Shephard, Hawkins, Hudson, Harrison Hochstedler and Gabriella Umbower; and his brother Gary Umbower. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to the Scholarship Fund at Word of Life Bible Institute, 4200 Glendale Road, Pottersville, NY 12860.
