He is survived by: his parents, Ted V. Hughes of Syracuse and Mary Hughes (Nichols) of Lansing, MI; his wife Erin Hughes of Syracuse; his children, Zac Hughes (Chelsea) of Kendallville, Christopher Hughes of Kendallville, Brent Hughes of Kendallville, Mason Christianson of San Diego and Alexis Shuler of Fort Wayne; his stepson Sam Applegate of Port Richey, FL; and his sisters, Tracy Weller (Frank) of Lansing, MI and Jennifer Yates of Tucson, AZ.. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren.
