It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Jean Plikerd Grimes of Syracuse, Indiana, born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Louden and Gertrude Leona Sosbe (Bond); her stepgrandson Bud Weiser; and her siblings, Katherine Elkins, Maxine Barnett, Betty Jane Peacock, Wayne, Vernon and Robert Sosbe.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard "Butch" Plikerd (Jackie) of Syracuse, Kenneth Plikerd (Penny) of Syracuse, Philip Plikerd (Pat) of Syracuse and Alan Plikerd (Diane) of Syracuse.
