It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Avon J. Bushong of Syracuse, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Bushong and Olive M. Bushong (Geyer); and his brother George Bushong. He is survived by: his children, Mary Kay Ridings of Syracuse and Douglas Bushong (Liz) of Johnson City, TN; and his brother Jon Bushong (Jenny) of Syracuse.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Grace Lutheran Church, 203 E. Main St., Syracuse, IN 46567.
