It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Howard Stone of Sweetser, Indiana, born in Glen Dean, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Stone and Margaret Stone (Baxter); his former wife Minnie B. Stone; and his brother-in-law David Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stone of Sweetser; his children, Greg Connors (Inez) of Fairmount and Kimberly Stone Vanyo of Sweetser; his daughter-in-law Chris Connors of Sweetser; his sisters, Rita Gillespie (Gary) of Peru, Sue Gambrell (Gary) of Peru, Barbara Alexander of Dade City, FL and Rebecca Crawford of Dade City, FL; and his grandchildren, Joel D. Bouse (Amanda), Cory Todd Davis (Jamie), Adam Rice, Gabe Rice, Benjamen Connors, Matt Connors, Nick Connors, Cassandra Fratus (Nate), Laurie Connors, Sharon Beckman, Serenity Connors, Fabienne Connors and Aurora Connors. He is also survived by 3 step-children; and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
