He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Mary Peterson (Newsom); and his wife Diana D. Underwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Carole Boyer (John) of Converse, Kay Burbank of Marion and Elizabeth Harner (Kevin) of Swayzee; his sister Jane Woodmansee of Marion; his grandchildren, Matthew Boyer, Nathan Boyer (Rachel), Abbie Brookshire (Willis), Samuel Boyer, Adam Harner and Sara Harner; and his great grandchild Weston Brookshire.
