We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, at the age of 76, Joe Thomas Barbour of Swayzee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd B. Barbour and N. Louise Barbour Embry (Tinker); and his brothers, Willie, James, Wayne, Chester and Lonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Barbour of Swayzee; his children, Andrew Barbour of Marion and Twylia Robbins (Ron) of Atlanta, GA; his grandsons, Aidan and Ashton Robbins; his siblings, Shirley Thompson (Robert, Jr.) of Canmer, KY, Rev. Douglas Barbour (Maggie) of Canmer, KY, Eunice Barbour of Louisville, KY, Ramona Barbour of Louisville, KY and Tony Barbour (Deborah) of Indianapolis; his sister-in-law Vickie Barbour; and his close friends, Mildred Scott, Roger Dale Thompson and Dean Lewis. He is also survived by two step-sisters; one step-brother.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
