It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Consuelo Rodriguez of Swayzee, Indiana, born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Rodriguez and Angelita Rodriguez; her daughter Rachel De La Garza; and her siblings, Elena Rodarte (Raymundo), Basilisa Lopez (Salome), Enriqueta Rivas, Adelina Rodriguez, Felix Rodriguez, II, Esequiel Rodriguez and Nolberto Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Lena Smith of Fort Wayne, Elva Sites of Fairmount, Grace Davis of Oakland, TN, Oscar Rodarte of Marion, Rick Rodarte of Rancho Mirage, CA and Dan Rodarte of Swayzee; her goddaughter Kristina Schroder of Sioux Falls, SD; her nephews, Troy A. Kistler and Daniel C. Rodarte; and her sister Amparo Charles (Carlos) of Hereford, TX.
