She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Clay and Dora Lou Rose; her husband Elwin Abplanalp; her children, Diana Haldeman (Doug), Lisa Hooten (John), Larry Abplanalp (Kaye) and Mark Abplanalp (Margie); her grandchildren, Kelley Haldeman, Kristafer Abplanalp (Aleve), Kerri (Mark), Nakoff, Wesley Abplanalp (Sarah), Ryan Haldeman (Jesse), Katie Schneider (David), Brittany Hooten (Harry), Jennifer Gullion (Ryan), Joshua Hooten (Alexandra) and Mandy Salzmann (Christian); and her great grandchildren, Kayelee Schneider, Sproston, Otis Abplanalp, Kauai Schneider, Alesia LaBazzo and Evan Haldeman.
