In loving memory of Roy Mitchell Jr. of Sunman, Indiana, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who departed this world on August 11, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his father Ivy Jeanette Mitchell (Selvey); his daughter Marie Jeanette Mitchell; his brother Joe Mitchell; and his grandsons, Anthony and Christian Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mitchell (Banschbach) of Sunman; his children, Roy A. Mitchell (Michelle) of Fort Drum, William Mitchell (Holly) of Eden and Alicia Mitchell of Holton; and his sister Larvena Brewer (Jack) of Harlan County, Kentucky. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
