He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ballard and Mary Lou Ballard (Webster); his son Paul Vernon Ballard Jr.; and his sister Brenda Ballard Dilts. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ballard; his children, Andrew Ballard (Ashly) of Sunman, IN, Angela Ballard McAllister (Keith Fox) of Lawrenceburg, IN and Lori James (Leland) of Greendale, IN; his siblings, Donnie Ballard of Rising Sun, IN and Kathy Sullivan of Florence, IN; and his grandchildren, Kendyl McAllister, Mara McAllister, Archer Fox, Hadlie Ballard, Hazel Ballard, Maverick James, Capri James and Duke James.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fitch Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
