He is survived by: his wife Donna Land of Sunman; his daughter Deborah Messer (Mark) of Crittenden, Kentucky; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Joerger (Bob) of Harrison and Denise Land of Kentucky; his siblings, Harold Carter (Maxine) of Sunman, Bobby Carter (Linda) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Noami Mason of Cleveland, Ruth Shoureas (Steve) of Genevia, Carol Roskuski (Charles) of Delphi, Vicki Schwarpzkopf of Copperas Cove, JoAnn Grant (Charles) of Bedford, Louise Gutzwiller (Bill) of Burlington, Lois Heitfield of Bedford and Wanda McGlone (Steve) of Florence, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Nicole Colen, Jessica Tyson, Caleb Nickel, Rachel Henry, Rebekah Kessinger and Destiny Carter. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in honor of Millard to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
