She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Banschbach and Mary Banschbach; her husband Roy Mitchell Jr.; her daughter Marie Jeanette Mitchell; her grandsons, Anthony and Christian Mitchell; and her brothers, John, Fred, Joseph, Jerome, Cornelius and William Banschbach.
She is survived by: her children, Roy A. Mitchell (Michelle) of Fort Drum, William Mitchell (Holly) of Eden and Alicia Mitchell of Holton; her sister Rita Leone (Dave) of Clayton, Indiana; her grandchildren, Sierra, Cody, Justin, Caleb, Will, Zaccary, Jerrett, Serenity and Megan; and her great grandchildren, Sebastian and Lily.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:50 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Milan VFW.
Memorials may be given in honor of Mary to the Milan VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
