It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Burchett of Sunman, Indiana, born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charly, William and Judy. She is survived by: her significant other Paul Batta; her children, Shelly Schmidt (Cody), Hanna Chasteen (Ernest) and Robby Burchett (Amanda); her grandchildren, Joseph, Mikey, Rylie, Amelia, Ernest, Cora and Gabe; and her siblings, Carol McAllister (Larry), Tom Schneider, Stanley Schneider, Nancy Strassell, Joanne Caldwell (Phil), Roberta Barnes (Matt) and John Schneider (Connie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
