She was predeceased by: her daughters, Odette Merkel and Melanie Martin; and her siblings, Maureen South, Janice Reehal, Rose Arnold, David Hislop and Murial Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Martin (Eric), Gerald Martin (Susan) and Michelle Gabbard (Justin); her grandchildren, Megan, Johnathan, Austin, Carson, Hailey, Brianna, Seth, Sierra, Connor and Jenni; her stepgrandchildren, Kerry and Steven; her great grandchild Roman; and her brother Bob Hislop (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
