He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Shupe and Flora Irene Edens Shupe; his wife Alverta Shupe; his children, Richard Shupe (Annette) of Sunman, Irene Schutte (David) of Sunman and Clarence Shupe (Betty) of Batesville; his siblings, Marion Shupe (Ann) of Ohio, Marilyn Arnold of Idaho, Barbara Tindel of Virginia, Tina King (Terry) of Virginia, Brenda Hatico (Tony) of Texas and Rebecca Flanigan (Dennis) of Ohio; his stepmother Pauline Shupe; and his brothers, Ansel Shupe and Charles Shupe.
