It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Dunbar of Sunman, Indiana, born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley Knecht and Margaret Vogelsang Knecht; her husband Melvin Dunbar; her children, Michael Dunbar (Jenn) of Sunman, Melanie Lindsey (Richard) of Moores Hill, Bethany Hartman (Bryon) of Milan and Nicholas Dunbar of Lawrenceburg; and her siblings, Bertie Bauman (Larry) of Sunman, Connie Wintz (Bill) of Batesville, Butch Knecht (Cathy) of Sunman, Gary Knecht (Beverly) of Greensburg, Cindy Ross (Ralph) of Milan, Mark Knecht (Melanie) of Greensburg, Rita Kramer and Marilyn Weller.
