It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Engle of Sunman, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lakes and Hattie Lakes; her husband John Engle; and her brothers, David, Joe and Bill Lakes.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Engle (Jennifer), Tina Wells (Jim) and Susan Caudill (Gerald Martin); her grandchildren, Megan Rogers (Jake), Brittany Anderson (Luke Thomas), David Anderson, Alyssia Phillips (Jon), Scott Engle, Skylar McElfresh (Tony), Johnathan Caudill, Austin Caudill and Carson Caudill; her great grandchildren, Hailey Rogers, Aubree Rogers, Coby Rogers and Jessilyn Phillips; her siblings, Marcia Fischer (Earl) and Gary Lakes (Mindy); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lakes and Dee Lakes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
