With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alma Laker of Sunman, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Riehle and Edna Riehle (Forthofer); her husband Harry Laker; her son Doug Laker; her son-in-law Brent Sarringhaus; her siblings, Helen Amberger and Brother Ralph Riehle; and her great grandchild Carter Bond.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Schuman (Mike) of Sunman, Gregory Laker (Donna) of Batesville, Carla Enzinger (Gerard) of Oldenburg, Ann Lesko (David) of Sunman and Gerald Laker (Jennifer) of Batesville; and her siblings, Betty Federle (Don), Mark Riehle (Carlene) and Janet Schwering. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Nicholas Heritage Project for Phase II of the new school building project.
