He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Ice and Della Ice (Reed); and his siblings, Kathleen O'Brien, Geraldine Grundy, Wayne Ice and Earl Ice.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Middleton (Dave) of Brownsburg, Dan Ice (Jan) of Alexandria, Dennis Ice (Kay) of Muncie, Tom Ice (Glenda) of Alexandria and Lori Brown (Mike) of Anderson.
