He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Rainey and Mary Rainey (Lewis); his son James Rainey; his granddaughter Hailey Rainey; and his siblings, Rick Rainey and Juanita Rainey.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Rainey (Idlewine) of Summitville, IN; his children, Debbie Etchison of Summitville, IN and David Rainey (Jackie) of Summitville, IN; his grandchildren, Zach Etchison, Nathan Etchison, Jamison Rainey, Jasmyn Rainey and Clayton Rainey; his great grandchildren, Donovan, Anders and Ruby; his nephew Rick Raney of Bloomington; and his sister-in-law Brenda Raney.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elwood Animal Shelter.
