She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora R. Pettigrew and Stella B. Pettigrew (Magowen); her husband Charles M. Knuckles; her son Charles Kenneth Knuckles; her sister Sarah Oldfield; and her brothers-in-law, William Oldfield and Wayne Small.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Purvis; her grandson Clark Purvis; and her siblings, James Pettigrew and Gladys Small.
