Howard Eugene Flanagan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Eugene Flanagan of Sulphur Springs, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Flanagan and Stella Flanagan; his parents-in-law, Leland and Lola Clark; his sisters, Juanita Sommers and Jane Sampley; and his daughter-in-law Connie Flanagan.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Pam Surber (John) of Forest Ranch, CA, Jerry Flanagan (Marcia) of Farmland, IN and Edward Flanagan of Pompano Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Craig Surber, Amanda Martignoni (Steve), Jenny Wilson (Brandon), Laura Vice (Shannon) and Amy Flanagan; his pet Sophie; and his siblings, June Gerth, Larry Flanagan and John Flanagan. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services- Middletown (118 S 5th St, Middletown, IN 47356). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to Plainfield Masonic Lodge, Middletown American Legion, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
