He was predeceased by: his parent Gene Edward Springer; and his brothers, Gene "Chickie" Springer and Dean Springer. He is survived by: his mother Rosemarie Robinson Springer Brown of Sullivan; his wife Rita Stahl Springer; his sons, Will Springer (Jessica) of Sullivan and Gene Springer of Sullivan; and his sisters, Gretchen Pitts (Hal) of Sullivan and Deborah Springer Eble (Roman) of Winnsboro, Texas.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate to a local children's charity of your choice or if you do not have one identified the Youth Enhancement and Training Initiative (YETI) was one Bill was proud to support.
